Japan | |
GTOP is a integrated database of information on structures and functions of proteins identified by various genome projects. This database, which mainly uses sequence homology analyses, features information on 3D structure of proteins predicted by Reverse PSI-BLAST against PDB. Functional prediction is mainly performed by BLAST search against Swissprot. Results of analysis contains information on protein motifs, family classification, prediction of domains (transmembrane helix and coiled-coil) and repetitive sequences. | |
