AmtDB is a database of ancient human mitochondrial genomes. It provides both the mtDNA sequences (in FASTA format) and the metadata for the samples, freely accessible for download. All provided data are hand-curated. Users can search for and filter all samples according to IDs, dates, geolocation, site, culture, mtDNA haplogroup, etc. Visualization the search results on an interactive world map is also available. | |
