| Database description: | Silkworm Base is a database of silkworm resources including eggs, larvae, pupas, cocoons and cloned DNA established by Kyushu University and National Institute of genetics. Silkworm Base consists of information on genetic resource stocks, mutant strains, references, distribution requests and related sites. Each entry contains a strain name, phenotype data, genetic background (gene symbol, allele, etc), origin, references, images and feeding ability. Users can search available resources by keywords from those items. |
